12. Münchener Forschungspreis für Wirtschaftsprüfung

The Munich Research Prize for Auditing (Münchener Forschungspreis für Wirtschaftsprüfung) has been awarded for the twelfth consecutive time by the Institute for Accounting, Auditing and Analysis of the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität of Munich on 6 November, 2014.

The prize is awarded for outstanding research achievements on the subject of auditing. Particularly, the authors of dissertations, bachelor and master theses, project studies and other types of publications at the Institute for Accounting, Auditing and Analysis will be rewarded.
The following researchers have been awarded:

  • Ms. Anne Kretzschmar und Mr. Sebastian Erb for their dissertations and
  • Mr. Dirk Stauder for his master thesis

Ms. Anne Kretzschmar presented „Determinanten einer Ausübung der Fair-Value-Option für finanzielle Verbindlichkeiten bei Banken“,
Mr. Sebastian Erb presented „Rechnungslegungsinformationen zu Verbriefungen im Umfeld der Finanzmarktkrise“, and
Mr. Dirk Stauder gave insights into the topic „Der Einfluss von IFRS auf die Vorhersagequalität von Finanzanalysten“.


The prizes were founded by the audit firm Deloitte & Touche.
This very successful event took place with great approval from numerous guests from practice and science and many participating students.
