Guest lecture by Dr. Christian Büchelhofer, ValueTrust, on "The Synergy Perspective - Nature, Valuation and Impact on IFRS Accounting"
As part of the lecture Accounting for M&A Transactions (M.Sc.) Dr. Christian Büchelhofer, managing director at ValueTrust, gave a guest lecture on May 2nd 2018 on "The Synergy Perspective - Nature, Valuation and Impact on IFRS Accounting". Dr. Büchlhofer outlined various forms of synergies which can be utilized in M&A transactions and how these synergies can be analyzed. In the end Dr. Büchelhofer presented a case study in which students were shown how synergies can be derived and valued.
