Guest lecture by Prof. Dr. Sven Hayn on revenue recognition
As a part of the bachelor course „International Accounting" Prof. Dr. Sven Hayn, partner of EY, gave a guest lecture on the topic “Revenue Recognition“ on 3 November 2016. In the first half of the lecture the students learned about the current standards IAS 11 and IAS 18 while in the second half they were introduced to IFRS 15 which will be effective in 2018.
After the lecture Mario Meyer, EY, gave further insights into the topic by applying the standards in a tutorial.
