Martin Plendl began his career in auditing at Deloitte. From mid-2007, he was responsible for the Audit business area, and from 2010 to 2020 he was Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Deloitte Germany. Under his leadership, Deloitte developed into the fastest-growing audit and consulting company. On an international level, Martin Plendl served as head to the European association Deloitte DCE from 2019 to 2021.
